CENTERPIECE CONTEST: Open to Attendees Only

This contest is open to the first 7 interested attendees.

You will be mailed an item that represents California.   

The item will be the theme of your centerpiece.  You can use any additional items to create your centerpiece. 

Please be mindful of the size of your centerpiece (people need to be able to see each other across the table and still have room at their places for their goodies).

BEST DRESSED:  80’s Theme:  Open to Attendees Only

Come wearing your best 80’s outfit!  Big hair and bright colors ruled this decade.  You know what to do!

Judging will be during the first portion of the show just in case you want to change.  But why would you?

CUSTOM DOLL:  Disney Villains:  Open to Attendees Only (Limited to 2 Entries per Person)

Doll can be Dawn or one of her friends Male or Female (no clones)

Created by attendee or other artist on behalf of attendee

Transform your doll into any Disney villain from a movie, TV show, ride, or book,

Dolls do not have to be completely customized.

Your outfit may be displayed with appropriate small props and accessories such as purses, pets, jewelry, hats, etc.

Please bring a stand.

CUSTOM OUTFIT:  Totally 80’s:  Open to Attendees Only

Male or Female fashion.  Accessories are encouraged.

Shoes can be Topper or clone (no need to customize unless you wish)

This fashion should be an expression of what the 80’s means to you.  A custom outfit is defined as clothing made by the entrant.  This includes all pieces of clothing except footwear; however you are welcome to make the footwear if you desire to do so.  Create your totally 80’s outfit!

Outfit needs to be “modeled” on either an original Dawn or Gary. Please bring a stand and your own doll.

Your outfit may be displayed with appropriate small props and accessories such as purses, pets, jewelry, hats, etc.

DIORAMA:  Favorite 80’s Movie or Music Video Scene:  Open to Attendees Only (Limited to 1 Entry per Person)



What is your favorite scene from an 80’s movie or music video?

Rules:

Dimensions:  No larger than 18 inches deep x 18 inches high x 18 inches width.

Dawn or at least one of her friends must be presented (as many dolls as you want but at least 1)

The Diorama may contain props and dolls made by you or purchased by you.

Dioramas will be judged on overall creativity, use of props and dolls, and the reflection of the theme.

California Dream’n/Dawn’s Vacation  

Dawn is coming to southern California; that is a long way from Topper Towers on the east coast.  Submit a photo of her vacation to share with the group.  

80's Inspired Glamour Shots!

You can also submit a photo that reflects our theme.

Photo needs to be an 8x10.  A simple black frame will be provided.  If you want a different frame please bring your own.

Filters or enhancements are allowed.  Color, black and white, or any other tones are allowed.
